About now.then

Welcome to our community! We are dedicated to celebrating the passions and creative projects of people in Brussels. Our mission is to build an interconnected community by sharing the incredible stories of individuals and organisations.

Through monthly interviews, we showcase the genuine joy that pursuits bring people, how they started, and the challenges they've faced. We believe that by celebrating these authentic stories, we can inspire others to create a supportive and thriving community.

Who started this bonkers initiative?

Christopher Littlefair

This is a story about a British guy who also became Belgian and wanted to invest more in the community around him in the best way he could.

Meet Christopher Littlefair, an artist of different sorts who realised that people have so many different passions and projects and find joy in what they do, that he wanted to encourge them to share it all.

Sharing means connecting and in this way we can all build something meaningful together.

To stay focused on this goal, we look for projects that demonstrate community engagement, are driven by genuine passion, and can be shared effectively through strong visuals and a compelling narrative. If you have an amazing story to share, you can learn more on our Tell Your Story page, then use our contact form to get in touch. You can also follow us on Instagram for updates, inspirational content, and cultural news.

Our mission

now.then is a platform dedicated to showcasing the non-professional passions and creative and cultural projects of individuals in Brussels and Belgium. Through monthly interviews and stories, we provide a space for people to share their expertise and the genuine joy their pursuits bring them, all while building a supportive community that inspires others to find and follow their own passions.

Our Vision

To build a thriving, interconnected community in Belgium where authentic passion and creative expression and cultural links are celebrated, fostering a culture of gratitude, curiosity and shared human connection.
